She graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2005. Shortly after graduation, she landed in Arizona and found her niche in the schools and pediatric home health setting, as she has a passion for working with children. Rebecca loves to be creative with therapy activities and support the teachers and parents that work with these kids each and every day to provide the greatest growth possible. Through her years of working with special needs children, she has discovered a need for connecting the right therapists to work with these children. We want to see your students/children grow to their fullest potential in all areas of life. Our goal is to connect great therapists with schools and families that need services. Therapists are available to complete evaluations to determine a child’s functioning level, provide direct therapy services, consult and collaborate with staff and parents, and provide training in their specialty fields. Therapies are provided in the family’s home, in the community, or virtually. We also offer consultation sessions with parents/caregivers to help implement strategies that families can carry over in daily life. At this time, Helping Hands Therapy only accepts private pay therapy options. This allows for flexibility and creative solutions when providing therapy services.
